Cooling bed
Equipment of the cooling bed group is designed to cool down the rolled strand in a controlled manner:
- by means of cooling pipes downstream of the last mill stand
- with convection or/and ventilation
and to devide the rolled strand into cooling bed lengths according to the requirements of the commercial lengths to be cut.
