Thermocoil Cooling trains

In the 1980ies, SKET developed cooling processes in wire rod rolling mills. SKET offered the cooling process for wire rod at product speeds of up to 100 m/s under the name of Thermocoil.

MWE, using the Thermocoil process and the APROCS control system for wire rod cooling lines, also developed for bar rolling mills, has adapted forward-looking processes to achieve cutting-edge product grades in rod mills.
